Junior Premier League
Redlands United Football Club is one of five Brisbane based clubs to be re-selected to represent Football Brisbane in the 2012 Junior Premier League (JPL) competition in the U12, U13, U14, U15 and U16 age groups.
The Football Queensland JPL competition aims to provide elite players the opportunity to play at the highest possible level, playing the best players from other representative teams from Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Northern NSW and South West Queensland and to be considered for selection into the State Representative Squads and the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS).
Under the guidance of Football Queensland's State Technical Director, Regional Development Officer and PTDO's the club's development program aims to fully integrate the Football Federation Australia's National Curriculum, playing the 1:4:3:3 system and providing the players the best possible development opportunity.
Director of Football - Matt Chandler (UEFA 'A' Advanced Coaching Licence)
Redlands United Football Club has appointed Matt Chandler for the position of Director of Football for 2012. Matt has coached professionally in the UK, USA and more recently as the Head Coach of Hawkes Bay United in ASB Premiership (NZ National League).
As an experienced coach educator, Matt's vast knowledge, his ability to influence and motivate people will be an asset to all RUFC JPL players and team coaches with a clear focus on technical and tactical development.
Matt's involvement with elite youth players extends to working within New Zealand Football as U14 World Cup Development Squad Coach, Talent I.D. National Scout, U13 Boys National Regional Academy Head Coach and staff coach at the National Regional Academy. Matt was also involved within Federation Three of New Zealand Soccer (Force Three) as the Technical Development Manager (Director of Football) and the Force Three Youth Team Coach for two seasons.
Matt also holds the following qualifications; UEFA 'B' Coaching Licence, UEFA 'B' Goalkeeping Licence, UEFA' C' Coaching Certificate, F A Youth Coaches Award, F A Junior Team Managers Certificate, Coerver Coaching Level 1 Accreditation and is a member of the F.A. Coaches Association

RUFC takes player development seriously ensuring that aspiring young football players have the opportunity to train in the best environment, facilities and equipment we can provide with the best coaches available to us.
Coaches have been selected based on their commitment to player development, having attained a minimum of an Asian C Class license and their past experience.

This is Peter's 3rd year coaching JPL at Redlands United. Peter has coached at State Level and is also a grass roots, Junior and Youth Licence instructor.
U13 Assistant Coach - Matt Amos
U14 Coach - Scott Prickett (AFC C Licence)
Scott has coached both JPL and junior teams at Redlands. Scott is also the current FQ Youth Futsal Coach
U14 Assistant Coach - TBC
U15 Coach- Graham Fyfe (AFC C Licence)
Redlands United Youth Development Coach, Graham signed for Glasgow Celtic at 15 and played in both the youth and reserves teams. He played Raith Rovers in the Scottish 1st Division and Cheltenham FC in the English 2nd division. Graham has also played professional football in New Zealand and is an integral member of the Redlands United Premier League team.
Graham also holds a SVQ in coaching 1, 2 & 3 (Scottish Badges 5 - 18 yr olds) and Small Whites, Junior Advanced and National Academy licences from New Zealand.

U16 Coach - Ivan Parsons (AFC C Licence)
Ivan has coached all ages and genders over the past 24 years and has coached at both youth and senior levels in QLD, NSW & Victoria. Ivan has coached the U14 (2008) BJL, U15 (2009) BJL and U15 RSJPL (2010) teams at Redlands United.
