Redlands downed but not out

Despite their chances, Redlands United have gone down 3-0 to Brisbane Roar Youth on Sunday night. A brace from Mirza Muratovic and a late strike from Bryce Bafford sealed the three points for Roar. It didn't take long for Roar to get the opening goal as Muratovic tapped in the ball from close range after a miscommunication in the Redlands defence in the opening minutes of the match. While Roar continued to look dangerous going forward, Redlands started to create chances. Alex Warrilow and Jake Sherwood had the best chances for the side in the first half but couldn't convert their shots and their defence down the other end of the pitch was able to keep Roar at bay going into halftime. Red Devils coach disappointed in sides result

Redlands United coach Nick Dibbs was disappointed in his sides result on Saturday night. "The results, scoreline or the performance was not good enough, I'm slightly embarrassed to be quiet honest," he said. "The boys have to react and they got to be consistent in our attitude, in our effort and how we approach games but there were some good moments, however, keeping the ball and the simple things have to be done a little better. "I am disappointed, I'm really sorry to the club for us to come back after a long time away to a performance like that," Dibbs said. Redlands went down 6-2 to Cairns FC on Saturday night in their first game at the Cleveland Showgrounds after spending eight weeks awa

Dream come true for young Devils defender

It’s not every day a club is able to take a player from a very young age and see them through to the senior team but this is what Redlands United have seen with young defender Craig Peck. Peck has been with Redlands United since he was three years old, never playing for another club except for the Red Devils. He has made his way through the NPL system at the club since it was first introduced in 2013, where he played in the U15 boys competition and has excelled. The 18-year-old recently signed his first senior contract with the club in April this year. It was an exciting moment for Peck, as he had always had a dream of playing for the senior team and he who told his parents first as they hav

Previously, we have operated with a single Technical Director who oversaw all programmes. With over 80 teams in our club playing across multiple competitions, we have come to the conclusion that we nee

Redlands Back In Winning Ways

Redlands United are back in the winner’s circle as they end an unlucky 5 match losing run with an emphatic 5-1 away win against Gold Coast United. A good number of Redlands fans made the trip down to Robina for the National Premier League clash between Gold Coast United and Redlands United. The travelling Redlands fans were in fine voice and on fire as they yelled themselves to a standstill, cheering the Red Devil’s home in a top rate performance. The first half started as a very tight affair with possession favouring the home side, with Redlands holding firm in defence repelling the Gold Coast attacks. Just after the half hour mark Redlands were provided with a great opportunity on goal
