Dibbs joins 2019 NPL coaching staff

Redlands United have announced Nick Dibbs will join the coaching staff alongside Cleberson Souza Santos for the 2019 NPL Queensland season. Dibbs, who was the head coach of the side this past season, will take on the head coaching role of the U18's in the upcoming season and will still have a role in the first team. After undertaking a new role outside of football, Dibbs was unsure if he could continue with his position with the first team football but Redlands have kept him on board to help young talent make their way into the senior squad. "I indicated to the Committee at the end of last season that I would have to step away from the Head Coach role," Dibbs said. "I wanted to stay involved

Over 35 Div 1 Grand Final Winners

Huge congratulations to our Over 35 Div 1 team (Redlands Old Devils) for winning the Grand Final. Thanks to Chris Jones for the report on the victory. Well the mighty Redlands Old Devils took part in yet another grand final this evening hoping to finally end their poor run of results at the big dance. The Devils started slowly but were not really troubled by their opponents Brisbane City. The reds had a few half chances as the half went on and continued to keep city from getting in to dangerous positions by working hard at keeping their shape and pinching plenty of ball from them in the midfield. The reds continued to work hard and finally created a great opportunity for John Weatherby who

Despite the National Premier Leagues Queensland competition being up in the air as to who will compete in 2019 but Redlands United will be looking to continue to bring through young talent. Redlands escaped relegation after losing in surprising fashion up in Townsville to North Queensland United but they defeated Magpie Crusaders and Western Pride to ensure they would be staying up in the NPL for next season. "It's been character building," Redlands coach Nick Dibbs said. "It's probably been the toughest eight to nine months I have ever experienced personally. You live and breathe it, it consumes your life a little bit but from it, the young players we've brought through have been exceptiona
