Redlands United are back in the winner’s circle after defeating 6th place Moreton Bay Jets at the Cleveland Showgrounds last Friday night. The win comes at the right time for the Red Devil's as they face a hectic game schedule over the next 2 weeks. Saturday afternoon they take the trip down the M1 to take on Gold Coast side, Coomera FC, in the 5th Round of the FFA Cup. They then have to backup on Tuesday evening, away at Lions Stadium against 2nd placed Lions FC in Round 14 of the NPL, before finishing off the fortnight at the showgrounds on Friday evening to take on Eastern Suburbs in Round 15 of the NPL. Kado Aoci: Striker Has played at Lions, Peninsula Power, Wolves, Rochedale winning the league with many of these clubs and also winning the Golden boot many times. Noted goalscorer over many seasons, strong, fast and lethal in the box Kado is an excellent addition to the squad and will make a formidable front line with Shuto. David Salin: Defender The French born defender has played at Strikers, Peninsula Power and Souths. Very calm under pressure and is very skilful. David reads the game very well and is always on hand for that last ditch tackle in and around the box. Redlands United played their second game in 4 days last Wednesday evening when they hosted AC Carina in the rounds of the 2019 FFA Cup. Despite the 8-0 score line and the obvious difference in level, the visitors never gave up and fought on and made the Red Devil's work for their victory. Three first half goals to striker Shuto Kuboyama, set the Red Devils on the path to victory. Right on the brink of half time Rob Kramer scored his first goal for Redlands to send the home side into the break 4-0 up. The second half produced much of the same, with AC Carina looking to threaten on the counter attack as Redlands continued to mount the pressure. New recruit Kado Aoci produced the goods scoring

By the end of next weekend, Redlands United will have played 3 games in 6 days. Wednesday night the Red Devils play AC Carina in the FFA Cup at the Cleveland Showgrounds with a 7.30pm kick off. Saturday Redlands host runaway competition leaders Peninsula Power at the Cleveland Showgrounds, in the Round 11 National Premier Leagues clash at 5pm.
