Formed in 1918, Redlands United is one of Australia's oldest and most respected football clubs.
We are an elite club with a community heart, with teams from Under 5's all the way through to our NPL Senior Men's team.
With over 1,000 players, we are one of only a handful of clubs in Australia that has both Football and Futsal teams and coaches.
Following a top down review of our player and coach development programmes, Redlands United are undertaking a major restructure of how we deliver these.
Previously, we have operated with a single Technical Director who oversaw all programmes.
With over 80 teams in our club playing across multiple competitions, we have come to the conclusion that we need to provide more football leadership and support throughout the entire club.
Our Technical Directors will be responsible for the following:
Setting football philosophy
Providing coaches with support and leadership
Mentoring coaches & player across training and game day appearances
Implementing the effective education and development of Coaches
Implementing our bespoke, age appropriate football curriculum across entire club
Development of the talented player’s pathways in line with Football Qld and FFA Curriculum
Rotating between teams to assist in training sessions
Rotating between teams to attend games
Driving a culture of professionalism into our players and coaches
Driving best practice across our programmes, including sports science
Promote in house programs with affiliated schools and facilitate further growth opportunities
Providing coaching to affiliated schools programmes
Overseeing the selection and determine skillset requirement of players for each program
Facilitating the Celtic Academy Partnership throughout the club
We are seeking to appoint 3 Technical Directors:
NPL Technical Director – A Licence (min)
Youth (U13-U18) Technical Director – B Licence (min)
Junior (U5-U12) Technical Director – C Licence (min)

Full time or part time roles will be considered.
Remuneration will be based on experience.
