Media Release: Graham Ross Commits to the Red Devils for 2020

Graham Ross re-signs as RUFC Head 1st Team Coach for 2020

Redlands United FC are pleased and excited to announce the re-signing of our NPL Head 1st Team Coach Graham Ross for Season 2020.

“I’m looking forward to continuing my role as Head 1st Team Coach at Redlands United for the 2020 season and building on the foundations Nick Dibbs and I have put in place in the second half of this season’ Ross commented.

“It was a very tough start to the season for the club and it did take some time to right the ship before getting some on field success with our little purple patch of 6 undefeated matched in a row. I am very confident with some quality inclusions added to the good young talent we have at the club and a solid pre-season we can have a very successful 2020 campaign.”

“I have never taken on a club to just avoid relegation or to even be a mid-table club and nothing will change at Redlands United, we will work hard to set a winning culture with a strong work ethic and push for success on the back of this” Ross said.

“I’m looking forward to working with the clubs new Technical Director Graham Harvey and his new vision and philosophy for the club, this was a huge factor for me re-signing at the club and we have struck up a good working relationship already.”

The Club’s new Technical Director for 2020 Graham Harvey was thrilled with Ross’ re-signing, “I am pleased that we have managed to secure Grahams service’s for the 2020 season.”

“The appointment of a 1st Team Head Coach is an important component when attempting to build a club that everyone in the region can be proud of and relate to. The 1st Team is the environment all of our juniors should aspire to at the very minimum” Harvey said.

Harvey sees the re-signing of Graham Ross as a key element for the Club’s ambitions in 2020, “Graham brings a wealth of experience in Queensland football with him which we as a club considered invaluable as we look to progress the 1st Team forward in 2020.”

“The timing of his appointment is crucial to allow him the opportunity to complete a full preseason both on and off the field. As you will have witnessed towards the second half of the season results started to improve as the first team found some stability and consistent messages. “

“I am excited to see the entire club come and support the first team next season.”

Redlands United Club President Andy Bradley says the appointment is terrific news for the club.

“The development of our 1st Team at Redlands United to be something our up-and-coming young footballers aspire to is clearly a passion shared by Graham Harvey, Graham Ross and the Club,” Bradley said.

“We are thrilled to have Graham Ross back to guide our 1st Team campaign in Season 2020.”
