Media Release: Jordan Manning Signs as Red Devils Head Coach

Redlands United Redlands United FC are pleased to announce the signing of Jordan Manning as our NPL Head 1st Team Coach for the remainder of Season 2020.

Jordan comes to Redlands from the Brisbane Roar where he is currently the Academy High Performance Manager. He is a AFC qualified coach, holds a Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Sports Science and is currently completing his Masters of Coaching at UQ.

On his role at Redlands Manning commented, “Very appreciative and happy to be here with the club, obviously its a great opportunity for myself. I think the Club is heading in the right direction with people like Graham Harvey involved. I’m very keen to be involved, I believe the squad has a lot of great potential and I'm looking forward to starting up and getting out on the pitch.”

The Club’s Technical Director Graham Harvey was thrilled with Manning’s signing, “I am delighted to welcome Jordan to the club. He is a coach I have known a number of years and I think now is the right time for him to step up to be a Head Coach at senior level in the NPL. Don't be fooled by his age as he has spent numerous years already learning the business of coaching with success at Western Pride and with the Roar youth teams.”

“He is intelligent, organised and knowledgeable about the game and has an excellent work ethic which I think is something essential for this role at Redlands. He has already made some astute signings for the first team which will stand the club in good stead for the future and put some further structures in place off the field, to aid performance. Appointing Jordan to this role shows a real statement from the club regarding our investment in youth development on and off the pitch” Harvey said.

Graham Harvey and the Club would like to place on record their thanks to Warren Moon and the Brisbane Roar for having the foresight to invest in one of their young coaches by allowing him this opportunity, whilst still continuing his progression through their club.
